Jessica Russak-Hoffman graduated from Stern College for Women with a degree in English literature and worked as an editorial assistant in library trade and publishing before shifting into freelance writing and magazine editorial, but mostly uses her degree to enjoy SparkNotes memes. Jessica wrote pieces for BBC News and JOFA Journal about her post-9/11 Jewish chaplaincy, and her publishing credits include pieces for Kveller, Lady Mamale, Jewneric, and NW Beauty. Jessica lives in Seattle with her husband and three children. She is represented by Linda Epstein of Emerald City Literary Agency. Look for her next piece as an anthology contributor to ARTIFACTS OF ORTHODOX CHILDHOODS from Ben Yehuda Press.
When she is not obsessively listening to Dave Matthews Band, Mumford and Sons, and the History Chicks podcast, she is tweeting about being Jewish, working on her next novel, and co-hosting the Kiddush Book Club podcast #kiddushbookclub with Yonit Diaz.
